The National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) announced the launch, in 2025, of measurement campaigns to assess the quality of service (QoS) of fixed Internet in Morocco.
This initiative, similar to that already implemented for mobile networks, aims to analyze the technical performance of ADSL and optical fiber (FTTH) connections offered by the three national operators: Itissalat Al-Maghrib, Médi Telecom, and Wana Corporate.

The campaigns will be carried out in collaboration with volunteer subscribers who have a fixed Internet connection. They will be able to register on the ANRT website in order to participate in these evaluations, which will be based on a protocol consistent with international standards. Measuring equipment will be installed directly in the homes of selected participants, making it possible to collect precise data on the technical quality of their connections, while strictly respecting the confidentiality of exchanges.
Interested subscribers have until February 7, 2025 to register for this first campaign. The ANRT guarantees free participation and offers registrants the possibility of withdrawing at any time before the installation of the measurement equipment. Selected customers will be informed individually of the testing period and will be able to follow, on the ANRT website, the weekly QoS indicators of their subscription.

This system will make it possible to evaluate key parameters of the quality of fixed Internet in several Moroccan cities, thus contributing to a better understanding of the performance offered by operators. These results will be used to improve the user experience and strengthen transparency on the quality of services provided to consumers.
