The general director of the Ribérac Dronne Double intercommunal hospital center (Chic RDD), Stéphanie Cazamajou, recently took stock of the year 2024.
“This is a year dedicated to the quality and safety of care. The three nursing home sites, including that of Ribérac, passed their external evaluation procedure with a score of more than 3.9/4, the quality of the care being recognized by the external evaluators. »
On the health side of medicine, medical rehabilitation care, long-term care unit, the Chic RDD is now certified with confirmed quality of care recognized by the High Health Authority for four years with an overall score of 94.17%. “This is further recognition of the commitment of the Chic RDD teams and projects. The experts highlighted our collective efforts to improve the quality and safety of care. Its results are a solid foundation. »
Also, a dynamic of reopening beds was made possible by an increased attractiveness for paramedical recruitment. “During the first half of 2024, we were able to open five medical beds (12 to 17 beds) and two USLD beds on the Ribérac site. [NDLR : unité de soins longue durée]. Then in the fall, on the Saint-Aulaye site, seven SMR beds [NDLR : service de soins médicaux et de réadaptation gériatrique]. »
We also note the reopening of the store as part of a collective engagement project intended for residents of the Meynardie site, without forgetting the Music Festival which was a highlight in June. Numerous prevention, health promotion and public health actions have been carried out. “A city/hospital evening brought together nearly 70 participants on November 5 in Ribérac Malraux. “This event brought together medical professionals from the region, with our services to discuss our missions and the hospital’s place in the sector. »

The nursing home has participated in numerous intergenerational activities, such as inter-Ehpads, the partnership with the cultural center of CH Vauclaire, or the partnership with the Ribérac vocational high school and that of the Saint-Aulaye college. Partnership with the establishment of the GHT (regional hospital group), liberal professionals, in particular the laboratory and the medical imaging center.
Partnerships which wish to be continued into the year 2025 with in particular liberal professionals, the CH Vauclaire, the CH de Périgueux. “We want to work together to strengthen the provision of care by diversifying care in medicine, in advanced consultations, and in medical and SMR day hospitals. »
The Chic RDD will fully play the role of a local hospital by continuing to reopen beds depending on medical and paramedical recruitment. “We will continue our approach to continuous improvement in the quality and safety of care with particular emphasis on SSIAD [NDLR : service de soins infirmiers à domicile]which will also benefit from external evaluation this year. »
Finally, a study to launch studios at the nursing home in Meynardie was mentioned, as was the study for the repair of the floors.
