Having passed through OM during the 2004-2005 season, Eduardo Costa at that time witnessed a change of coach in the middle of the season, with the appointment of Philippe Troussier in place of José Anigo. And the former Brazilian midfielder denounces a fiasco with this choice on the part of the OM management.

His name probably won't resonate with younger people, but Eduardo Costa was one of the Brazilian figures in Ligue 1 in the early 2000s. Passed through the Girondins of (2001-2004) and much laterAS Monaco (2009-2011), he also wore the tunic of theABOUTbut this time for one season only (2004-2005). A season which was not necessarily memorable for the club, especially since in November 2004, José Me had been fired to make way for Philippe Troussier on the OM bench.

I liked his personality, his tenderness towards the players. A bit like Élie Baup, who was patient with me when I arrived in Bordeaux. I don't forget Mario Zagallo, who I knew with the Seleçao and who was unique too », confides the former player of theABOUT.
