The statistical service of the Ministry of the Interior has just published an analysis on non-marital domestic violence for the year 2023. It can be committed against children, or even between brothers and sisters. This type of event increased by +14% over one year. In the country, 82,800 victims were recorded by the police and gendarmes. In Yvelines, there are 2.4 victims of domestic physical violence for every thousand minors. A fairly low rate. There are also 0.8 victims of sexual violence in the same setting for every thousand young people. Again, the figure is low.
