The first municipal council meeting took place on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Philippe Turcan, the mayor.
Mayotte
The members of the council approved their mayor's proposal for a grant of €3,000 for the island of Mayotte, after the passage of the cyclone Desirewhich devastated her.
Quality of waste disposal service
Chantal Dumaine, deputy mayor and vice-president of the Andaine Passais community of communes in charge of environment and waste management, presented the 2023 annual report on the price and quality of the waste elimination service.
Allocation of end-of-year vouchers
-It was decided to offer a voucher of €25, usable in shops in the municipality, to permanent and contractual agents and to no longer offer vouchers of €35 for their children aged 0 to 14, those this benefiting from the help of the National Social Action Committee (CNAS).
Couterne accommodation
A project to create four housing units, above the Couterne media library, is under study. The financing of the €212,000, including €12,000 for project management, will be through €148,400 in revenue and €63,600 from the Rural Territories Equipment Grant (DETR).
