Among the personalities appointed to the rank of knight, include Pierre Hérisson, honorary senator, former deputy for Haute-Savoie, former mayor of Sevrier and president of the Automobile Club du Mont-Blanc, Jean-Paul Ballaloud, general practitioner and former first deputy mayor of Marignier, Laurence Joly, lawyer at the bar of Thonon-les-Bains, Léman, Genevois and former president of the bar, Éric Fournier, mayor of Chamonix, president of the community of communes of Chamonix and regional advisor, Philippe Carrier, expert surveyor, former director of Rochexpo and president of the CCI of Haute-Savoie and Dominique Puthod, departmental advisor of Haute-Savoie and president of Citia, City of Moving Images, organizer of the Annecy animated film festival.
We will also note the promotion to the rank of officer of Louis Laugier (knight of October 15, 2016), director general of the national police and former prefect of Savoie (2018-2020) and Isère (2023-2024).
