This is a first package for the French XV: this Sunday, the management of the Blues announced the defection of the second row of Racing 92 Romain Taofifenua (34 years old; 53 caps).
On Saturday, Romain Taofifenua started in Racing 92's victory on Saturday against the Stormers. The colossus gave way to Boris Palu at the start of the second half. Nothing was specified by the FFR concerning the reasons for this package.
Mickaël Guillard as reinforcement
Fabien Galthié and the staff of the XV of France have decided to call in reinforcements the Lyonnais Mickaël Guillard (5 caps), injured in early December, in the recovery phase recently and who has not returned to an official match.
-The 42 players from the French XV summoned will join the CNR in Marcoussis this Monday, January 20.
