Queyras Pride returns for a 3e festive and inclusive edition Saturday January 25 in Molines-en-Queyras. The resort village, perched at an altitude of 1,750 meters, will vibrate to the rhythm of self-acceptance and inclusion.
A snow groomer transformed into a musical float
Organizing a Pride in a village nestled in the mountains may seem surprising, but it is precisely this uniqueness that makes the event essential. In the Alpine valleys, meeting places for LGBTQIA+ people (acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual and other terms designating genders and sexualities) remain rare and their visibility limited. Yet they live here, like everywhere else, aspiring to an existence free of judgment. Faced with the increase in homophobic acts on a national scale, Queyras Pride 2025 stands out as a cry from the heart for the right to love freely.
This event, organized by the Guillestrois and Queyras tourist office in collaboration with the Régie des stations du Queyras, promises to be rich. Open to all, it invites participants to carry the colors of diversity to an altitude of more than 2,000 meters. This year, the star of the event is Le Filip, big winner of season 3 of Drag Race France, a drag queen competition. Known for her elegance and energy, she will be the queen of pride skiing, taking her place on a snow groomer transformed into a musical float for a spectacular descent. In the evening, Le Filip will sublimate the Comedy club stage with two sparkling performances. She will also share the bill with comedians Natacha Prudent, Améziane Bouzid and Célia Bouy, before giving way to the infectious energy of DJ Pompompom, who will liven up the evening until 11 p.m.
But from the morning, it will be possible to explore the Molines-Saint-Véran ski area, peaking at 2,830 meters. In the afternoon, it's time for the pride slides! The descent will be accompanied by music with a festive stop at the Chalet des Amoureux where Anne and Pascal will offer a cocktail to the participants. Torchlight descent and revisited biathlon will conclude the afternoon.
