A somewhat superfluous title for us Jura residents than that given to this lithograph by Samuel Buri of which the Collection Jurassienne des beaux-arts keeps two copies. The work served as a gift from the Jura Government, which is easily understood. The eye follows with pleasure the familiar arcatures of the cloister of Saint-Ursanne adorned with colors which give it an air of eternal summer. The work therefore constitutes an ideal business card.
The artistic process seems simple. Translucent rectangles of red, yellow, purple and green extend to the base of the berry flare.
