TOUBA – Serigne Dame Atta Mbacké buried overnight rests alongside her revered father Cheikh Ibrahim

Under the care of Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, Serigne Dame Abdourahmane Mbacké known as “Serigne Dame Atta” was buried the same night from Friday to Saturday. Several dignitaries, including the spokesperson for the Caliph General of the Mourides, Serigne Bassirou Mbacké Abdou Khadre, made the trip and attended the funeral ceremony.

The late deceased now rests alongside his revered father Serigne Ibrahima Mbacké in the east of the

great mosque. He left this world only a few months after inaugurating this very beautiful mosque that he built not far from Touba-Mosque in a neighborhood that he named “Makama Ibrahima”. It was Friday October 18, 2024.
