(Quebec) The Quebec City Police Department arrested three people on Thursday evening for drug trafficking.

The arrests, made in collaboration with investigators from the Urban Violence Module of the Quebec police and the Tactical Intervention Group, took place around 9:30 p.m., we can read in a press release sent by the police.
Two of the suspects, a man and a woman, both 33 years old, were arrested for trafficking and extortion, while a 40-year-old man was arrested solely for drug trafficking. The latter was released by summons.
-A search was also carried out at the 40-year-old man’s home in L’Ange-Gardien, in the suburbs of Quebec. The police seized just under 800 grams of crystal meth, nearly 135 grams of cocaine, some 2,500 methamphetamine tablets, as well as around 45 ml of GHB.
The two 33-year-olds remain detained and are expected to appear Friday afternoon.
