We're moving to the next level. While the episode of air pollution with suspended particles (PM10) is expected to continue tomorrow Saturday January 18, 2025 and probably Sunday in and Haute-Garonne, the prefecture announces new emergency measures, called “level 2” this Friday evening.

Measures for the aviation sector

While the maximum authorized speed has already been lowered by 20 km/h on the roads limited to 130 km/h, 110 km/h and 90 km/h; While controls (notably road) have been strengthened, the new measures target the air sector in particular.

Thus the prefecture requests the postponement of engine tests of aircraft “whose objective is not to undertake a flight”. But also the postponement of training track laps (with the exception of those “carried out as part of initial training provided by a declared, approved or certified organization, with presence on board or supervision of an instructor”) .

Ventilate well

Furthermore, the prefecture reminds that despite pollution, you should not confine yourself to your home and ventilate it well. People in respiratory distress should dial 15.
