From a police source, we learned this Friday that the family of Annick Dupriez had confirmation that the human bones found on land at the Parc residence, avenue Jules-Guesde in Escaudain in 2022, were those of the missing person since the May 18, 2013 in Escaudain.
The family, via a funeral service and with the agreement of the public prosecutor, was able to recover the bones in Lille this Friday, apparently identified thanks to DNA tests. In 2022, a person carrying out work discovered human bones not far from the last location of the missing person and notified the police.
A search notice/call for witnesses was still published on the assistance and search for missing persons (ARPD) website. The latter indicated that “Anne-Lise Dupriez (editor's note, her sister) of course reported the facts to the police, made a statement about the worrying disappearance, while carrying out her own investigation herself. She toured hospitals, surveyed psychiatric services and even interviewed homeless people in the area, but without the slightest result.“.
-Annick Dupriez was last seen alive.by her friend (editor's note, since deceased), who hosted her in Escaudain and with whom she spent the night from May 17 to 18, 2013, and by one of her daughters, with whom she had lunch on May 18, 2013.” Annick Dupriez was a mother of five children.
