This weekend marks a key stage for French climbers: the semi-finals of the 2025 French Bouldering Championship. These competitions, organized simultaneously in the north and south of the country, will determine the qualifiers for the prestigious French Championship, which will be held on February 10 in Anse.

Before being able to dream of a national title, French climbers must go through qualifying stages: first departmental championships, then regional championships, which allow them to qualify for the semi-finals of the French Championship.

This weekend, this final qualifying stage will take place in two different locations. Nearly 1100 competitors who will compete to win their ticket to Anse: more than 500 competitors in each semi-final.

Two places, the same intensity!

was divided into two zones for these semi-finals:

South semi-final: Chamonix welcomes climbers from the south in a legendary Alpine setting, already known for its major competitions.

Northern semi-final: Direction Montmartin-sur-Mer, in , for climbers from the north.

In Chamonix and Montmartin-sur-Mer, the program will be the same:

4:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.: U18 and U20 final

Sunday 19/01

7h30 – 10h30 : Qualification U16
10h45 – 13h45 : Qualification Seniors
15h15 – 18h45 : Finale U16 et Seniors
