the essential
Two new channels will appear on DTT in 2025. The first is called OFTV (Ouest-France TV). The second, announced under the name Réels TV, will ultimately be called T18.
Big upheaval in sight on TNT. It is on June 6 that the changes announced a few days ago will come into force. Following the non-renewal of the frequencies of C8 and NRJ12, which will stop broadcasting at the end of February, and the voluntary withdrawal of Canal + from television received by rake antenna, a new numbering of the channels will be put in place.

C8 and NRJ 12 will be replaced by two new channels. OFTV, channel of the Ouest-France group, which will have the slogan “Life, in truth”, will be a generalist channel and will begin its programs by September 1, 2025. The second channel, first announced under the name Réels TV, then CMITV, will ultimately have another name: T18.
“It will be called T18. T for television, because we believe in this medium. And 18, which corresponds to our numbering,” explained the president of the channel Christopher Baldelli in Le Figaro. She will succeed Gulli who will move from channel 18 to channel 12.
-Documentaries, entertainment, debates
The shareholders promise “documentaries, entertainment and debates” for the general public. “It is not a question of making trash TV, nor of programs that drag down.” The priority targets will be 25-49 year olds and CSP+.
The channel will have a budget of “thirty million euros” per year at cruising speed. A “small balance” is hoped for in 4 years. T18 will be based in Issy-les-Moulineaux in the Paris region and its advertising spaces will be marketed by the TF1 management team.
What on-air casting?
Le Figaro announces the names of several personalities who could join T18 such as the philosopher Raphaël Enthoven, the journalist Ava Djamshidi or the essayist and polemicist Caroline Fourest. On this point, there is still no official conformation.
