JURA: Sun and snow this weekend in Les Rousses

Winter activity continues at Les Rousses station. The snow will allow skiing and snowshoeing this weekend under an azure blue sky.

The weather will be nice this Saturday and Sunday in the Jura mountains. The snow depth at the top of the slopes at Station des Rousses – Jura sur Léman is 50 centimeters at 1,680 meters above sea level. At the bottom of the slopes, around 1,160 meters there is 5 cm of snow. The last snowfall was on Friday January 10. 30% to 40% of the ski area is open.

Ski area opening forecast for the weekend of January 18 and 19


– Alpine skiing : The ski area is open, entrance gates: La Serra, Les Dappes, Le Balancier (when the car park is full, remember to park in the upper car park, along the N5 then go down on foot via the access special) and Les Jouvencelles.

– Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing : The Nordic area is open to the Sambine and Massacre massifs (from La Darbella, Frasse and Serra) and Risoux (from Combe du Vert and Combettes).

Practical information : Alpine skiers, this weekend, anticipate your arrival (before 10 a.m.) to facilitate your parking due to the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup. Choose the Skibus to get around.

Weekend weather at Les Rousses resort
