Gap. The Peasant Confederation occupies the Cèdre roundabout
In the context of the elections to the Chamber of Agriculture, a few dozen members of the Confédération paysanne des Hautes-Alpes set up on Friday October 17 at the Cèdre roundabout in Gap. In this place, also nicknamed by the Gapençais the “Vaches roundabout”, farmers mobilize on peasant income. They denounce more particularly an “abandonment of the dairy sector by the Chamber of Agriculture” and “the inaction of the State in the face of wolf predation on cattle”. Visible to motorists, this action has no impact on traffic. It should last all morning.
On January 7, it was the Rural Coordination which was mobilized in the city-prefecture.
