For the occasion, the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada has compiled a list of the 12 best vehicles on sale in the country for the year 2025.
They based their choices on four categories:
Canadian Car of the Year
- Acura Intergra Type S
- Honda Civic
- Toyota Camry
Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year
- Hyundai Santa Fe
- Mazda CX-70
- Toyota Land Cruiser
Canadian Electric Car of the Year
- BMW i4
- Fiat 500e
- Lucid Air
Canadian Electric Utility Vehicle of the Year
- Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
- Let’s EV9
- Mazda CX-70 Pug-In
“For the first time, the unveiling of the 12 best vehicles of the year by AJAC is part of our event, bringing a unique and prestigious dimension to the Show,” underlined the executive director of the Motor Show. Montreal Auto Luis Pereira.
The dozen finalist vehicles will also be on display for visitors.

Around thirty brands have also confirmed their places for the event and to celebrate its 80the edition, the Show will welcome two leaders in electric innovation, Lucid Motors and Polestar, a first.
-Also, 25 models for road tests of electric vehicles will be presented during this edition, a record for the event.
Luc Poirier’s Ferrari collection will also be there, with a dozen new models.
The modified vehicles from the Performance Zone will also be back this year with around thirty cars.
