The Casablanca Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Market recorded historic performances in 2024.
With revenues of 177 million dirhams and a supply volume of more than 1,600,000 tonnes, these results mark an increase of 10% compared to the previous year. “These record results are the result of strengthened collaboration between market users, agents and stakeholders of the city of Casablanca,” indicates a press release from the municipality. In detail, 233,000 trucks passed through the market in 2024.

The Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Market has become the second source of income for the municipality of Casablanca. Since it was put under management by the local development company Casablanca Prestations in 2015, the market has benefited from upgrade and maintenance measures, with the aim of strengthening its commercial attractiveness and its capacity to meet the needs of operators.
