Your GDS Creuse Mémo 2025, to support you

In collaboration with veterinarians and other partners, these elements have been developed according to your needs and requests. Each tool is presented to you briefly with the person responsible for the file to contact. For more complete information, you will find the article and/or the corresponding file on our site www.gdscreuse.fr .

Actions carried out by GDS Creuse and its subsidiary Farago Creuse

“Open house” day on March 8, 2025: since 2011, we have been inviting you to come and meet the teams supported by the administrators of GDS Creuse. This day aims to be a place for meetings, exchanges and conviviality. This 13e edition will be marked by the 30th anniversary of our subsidiary, which became Farago Creuse. At the beginning of April, the general assembly with assessments and orientations on the program

This annual meeting brings together your cantonal delegates, voting members of this general assembly, and our partners to take stock of the past year, present perspectives and define the main lines of action. As with the 3 boards of directors spread over the year, contact your cantonal delegates for any feedback. This will also be an opportunity to thank our President Philippe Monteil for his 35 years of investment in GDS Creuse and the GDS network.

In the fall, information meetings for all breeders

These information meetings by sector, intended for all breeders, take place every 3 years. They will take place in November and will see the election of your new cantonal delegates. As in 2022, the challenge is to make these meetings places for meetings and exchanges, with high participation in conviviality. Breeders, veterinarians and other partners will be invited. Here too, let us know the topics you would like to discuss during these meetings.

An action plan in consultation with your veterinarians…

Your veterinarians are an essential link in the health management of your herd and constitute an essential relay for the use of the tools developed in conjunction with them and made available to you. We provide third-party payment for acts defined by a bipartite committee (prophylaxis, movements). Specific information is dedicated to them: visit to each Creuse office, provision of our weekly article, annual information day, timely information based on current events, etc.

… technical and financial support for all farms

For farms facing particular cases or significant episodes of pathology, we carry out a farm visit in conjunction with your veterinarian. In 2024, 16 breeders will benefit from this type of intervention. As part of the full third-party payment for ruminants, the Terana Creuse laboratory invoices us for all analyzes “ ruminants » for our members. We will re-invoice them to you at the rate negotiated by GDS Creuse, after deduction of any aid (Departmental Council, GDS Creuse, FRGDS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, etc.). This system has been extended to the PCR FCO and MHE, with a significant financial impact. Paying your GDS Creuse invoice quickly allows you to continue to benefit from these advantageous rates. Throughout the year,www.gdscreuse.frbecause information is essential in monitoring your breeding…

A module “FCO – MHE, what solutions for me?» is proposed at the start of the year. We support the new settlers (21 hour course, visit to each new settler).
