A few days before Unpacked 2025, leaks are intensifying around the mysterious Galaxy S25 Slim. With its 6.4 mm thickness, it would be very very very very thin.
A few days before Samsung Unpacked 2025, OnLeaks reveals exclusive renderings of the Galaxy S25 Slim. This new model would be brand new in terms of smartphone design, with a record thickness of only 6.4 mm.

Far from being a simple exercise in style, this new smartphone would be positioned as a brand new product from the Korean manufacturer. Here the feat would be to integrate high-end components into a chassis that is thinner than ever, without sacrificing performance.
Extraordinary dimensions
The dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Slim should impress: 159 x 76 x 6.4 mm. To put these figures into perspective, even including the protrusion of the photo module, the device does not exceed 8.3 mm in thickness. This would simply be remarkable when we know that most current smartphones exceed 8 mm without even counting their photo module.
Samsung would not compromise on components. The S25 Slim would thus feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, coupled with 12 GB of RAM.
The other big innovation is hidden in the photo module. Samsung would introduce a new technology called ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) for its 3.5x telephoto lens. This approach would place the lenses in front of the prism rather than behind, to significantly reduce module thickness while maintaining optical performance.
This Galaxy S25 Slim would thus integrate a 200 MP HP5 main sensor, accompanied by a 50 MP JN5 ultra-wide angle and a 50 MP telephoto lens.
The design, as a whole, would remain true to the DNA of the S25 range, with a flat metal frame and a glass back.
A release later
Although the S25 Slim is expected to make its first appearance at Unpacked on January 22, alongside the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, it is not expected to go on sale until May 2025.
Samsung could thus take the lead against Apple, which is preparing an iPhone Air. It remains to be seen if this race for finesse will not come at the expense of autonomy and robustness.
Finally, it is not excluded that Samsung will take advantage of this Unpacked at the start of the year to provide news of its project “Moohan», the augmented reality headset made in Korea which would overshadow Apple's Vision Pro.
