A man was stopped by the Barcelonnette gendarmes while driving a vehicle this Friday, January 10 in the hamlet of Molanes in the town of Uvernet-Fours (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), BFM DICI learned.
The individual, of Tunisian nationality and aged 38, was under the influence of drugs and had no license. He had drugs on him.
A judgment soon
A search carried out at his home in Pra-Loup, where he works as a seasonal worker in a hotel, allowed the military to discover, again, cannabis.
The individual was placed in administrative detention before being released the next day. He will soon be tried before the Digne-les-Bains judicial court. In an irregular situation, the man now has thirty days to leave French territory.
