A 37-year-old man, believed to be connected to a Hells Angels junior club, was shot dead in his vehicle while his child was in the back seat on Wednesday morning in Saint-Charles-Borromée, near Joliette, northeast of Montreal.

The crime occurred in the parking lot of a condo building, near mini-warehouses, on Double Rang.
“Around 8:05 a.m., we received a call from a witness who discovered an unresponsive person behind the wheel of his sport utility vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead on site. In the back of the vehicle was a young child who was taken care of by the police,” says Sergeant Éloïse Cossette of the Sûreté du Québec.
According to sources, the victim is linked to or belongs to the Full Metal motorcycle club.
The victim would have no criminal history “but the crime has all the appearances of a settling of scores in the world of organized crime”, continued Mme Cossette.
