The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, received, Wednesday in Rabat, the Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Mamadou Tangara , carrying a message written to King Mohammed VI from the President of Gambia, Adama Barrow.
In a statement to the press following this interview, Tangara expressed his country’s gratitude and thanks to King Mohammed VI for all the support that Morocco has given to Gambia, which holds the current presidency. of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), following the success of the Organization’s summit that his country hosted last year.
The king, as president of the Al-Quds Committee, has “a determining role to play in the success of this Organization,” he said. Tangara also took this opportunity to salute the actions undertaken by the king, Amir Al-Mouminine.
He also indicated that his meeting with Bourita was also an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and to discuss the situation in the sub-region, in order to agree on common positions in relation to the ‘Africa.
