The wearing a mask is obligatory for professionals of the establishment, visitors and patients in all locations from January 15, 2025 at the Dax hospital.

The mask has once again become compulsory at Dax hospital. Furthermore, in a press release the management of the Dax hospital emphasizes that “any person working within the establishment and showing signs of respiratory infections or knowing they have contact must wear a mask”.
Barrier gestures and precautions
The application of barrier gestures and standard hygiene precautions remains essential for everyone, namely:
– Regular hand hygiene with the hydroalcoholic solution
– Wearing a surgical mask in case of respiratory symptoms or in case of contact
– Compliance with biocleaning and disinfection protocols for medical devices and equipment
– Regular ventilation of premises.

This new measure is linked to the resurgence of winter epidemics and in particular the flu. Many hospitals have decided to make masks compulsory again.
