This Wednesday morning, it is difficult to get around on foot or by bike in the city center of Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle).
Because freezing rainthe sidewalks of the ducal city were slippery and it got worse on the cobblestones of Place Stanislas.
Falling cyclists and cautious pedestrians
To reach the other side of the square, everyone has their own technique: take small steps, walk alongside buildings or walk alongside your bike.
Some ventured there while riding their bicycles but falls, without gravity, have multiplied.
Falls filmed by France 2 in the past
Around 9:15 a.m., municipal agents salt the place to prevent slipping. Despite everything, caution is required.
Already last year, Place Stanislas had become a giant ice rink and the falls were filmed by France 2.
In 2013, it was a report on the ice on the 1 p.m. news, filmed in Pagny-sur-Moselle (Meurthe-et-Moselle), which made the whole of France laugh.
