In the midst of preparations for St. Barbara’s Day, the firefighters of Saint-Père-en-Retz were called for an accident that occurred this Saturday, January 11 around 10:30 a.m. in the town of Chauvé (Loire-Atlantique). A young motorist, for undetermined reasons, lost control of his Renault Twingo.
The car rolled over
After hitting the embankment on the right side, the vehicle carried out several barrels staying on the right side of the road.
Traffic was on a single lane for 1 hour 30 minutes between the Pauvredrie crossroads and the Auvière crossroads, the time needed for the road technicians to clean the road and for the tow truck to evacuate the vehicle.
The driver, a resident of Chauvé, alone in his vehicle, was transported to theSaint-Nazaire hospital for exams.
