Early this morning, around 5:20 a.m., meteorologist David Dehenauw measured a temperature of -15.5°C near Elsenborn (commune of Butgenbach), in the province of Liège. It is the coldest winter night of the season.

Near Uccle, the reference station, the temperature was also negative with -3.9 degrees at 6 a.m. Locally, frost and patches of ice may have formed.

According to the MRI, the maximum temperatures this Tuesday will be between 0 and 3 degrees inland. It will be milder by the sea with temperatures reaching 7°C.
