Traffic interruptions, works and replacement buses… The daily lives of users of lines 6, 9 and 14 will be disrupted this week at least until Sunday January 19. At the origin of these disruptions, works and tests, indicates the RATP, whose objective is to“maintain the tracks and modernize the transport infrastructure”.
From Monday to Wednesday from 10 p.m. until February 12, traffic will be interrupted between Charles-de Gaulle – Etoile and Nation. The challenge for RAPT is to adapt infrastructures and installations to the deployment of new generation MP89 trains, notably “the modification of railway signaling installations in the Nation and Charles-de-Gaulle Étoile zones and, on the other hand, the online tests of the new train control system“, specifies the management.
The work will focus on improving operating systems. “RATP is carrying out tests on optimizing train control”, specifies the public establishment. For the same reasons, the line will also be closed on 2 and February 16, March 9 and 30, 2025.
Tests linked to the complete modernization of the line are scheduled in particular this week to make its automatic piloting system “even more efficient“. These works “therefore impose interruptions in the evenings and on certain Sundays or public holidays until the year 2025″, according to RATP.
More precisely, on Monday and Tuesday from 10 p.m. traffic is interrupted between Maison-Blanche and Saint-Denis-Pleyel. On Wednesday from 10 p.m., traffic will be interrupted on the entire line. Replacement buses are planned between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades.
