BNDE filed a complaint with the Kaolack public prosecutor’s office concerning three loans, granted in 2018 to a “well-known company based in Dakar”, for an amount of three billion CFA francs on the basis of “alleged false documents.” » The investigation is being carried out by the Kaolack Research Brigade.
According to Liberationthese loans were guaranteed by three plots of land located in Sing-Sing, in Kaolack, initially valued at 4 billion CFA francs.
However, when they were seized for failure to repay, a second assessment revealed that their total value did not exceed 300 million, well below the debt contracted.
