Two days after the launch of a direct air link between Rabat and Oujda, Air Arabia Maroc, leader in low-cost air transport in the kingdom, continued to expand its services in the Oriental region, inaugurating today, Sunday January 12, a new air link linking the capital Rabat to the city of Nador.
The inauguration ceremony took place at Nador Al Aroui International Airport in a festive atmosphere, in the presence of Khatib Lahbil, Governor of the Oriental Region, Mohamed Bouarourou, President of the Council of the Oriental Region, and Laila Mechbal, Director General of Air Arabia Maroc. The inaugural flight was greeted with the traditional water jet at Rabat international airport.
In a statement to Yabiladi, Laila Mechbal expressed her joy with the launch of this new link, confirming that it represents an important step in the development of the Eastern Region.
“Two flights will be operated each week during the winter season, and the frequency will increase to three weekly flights from April, using Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 174 seats.”

-For his part, Mohamed Bouarourou expressed his optimism about the launch of this air link which strengthens economic and tourist mobility in the provinces of Nador and Driouch.
The new connection will be operated with two weekly flights, on Sunday (from Nador at 4:15 p.m. arriving in Rabat at 5:20 p.m. From Rabat at 11:00 a.m. arriving in Nador at 12:00 p.m.) and on Wednesday (from Nador at 6:00 p.m.: 35 arriving in Rabat at 7:40 p.m. From Rabat at 8:30 p.m. arriving in Nador at 9:30 p.m.

The airline aspires that this new air link will strengthen regional connectivity between the capital Rabat, with its rich heritage, and Nador, the Mediterranean city known for its beautiful beaches and strategic location.
