Actress Kim Yaroshevskaya has died. She was 101 years old. With her leaves us her unique way of telling all her fabulous stories.
She spent her life gladdening the hearts of children and adults by telling all kinds of stories, including her own, perhaps the most moving.

Kim Yaroshevskaya was born in Moscow in 1923 to revolutionary parents. Her father is a victim of Stalin’s purges, and her mother wants to instill strength in her daughter by depriving her of dolls.
The little girl doesn’t care: she wraps up a rifle, which she cuddles in her arms.

Fanfreluche appears for the first time in the show Fafouinin 1954. The character will then be part of the band The surprise box, from 1956 to 1967.
In 1968, she got her own show, which ran until 1971. Kim Yaroshevskaya wrote and performed all the texts.

Alongside this television career, the actress takes the stage to perform the works of Tennessee Williams, Ionesco, Dostoyevsky, Chekhov, Camus and Réjean Ducharme.
She plays in around fifty plays and in several films, including those by Léa Pool.

In 2017, at the age of 94, the actress presented My trip to America. That year, she received the badge of the Order of Arts and Letters of Quebec.
The same year, host Anne-Marie Dussault asked her in an interview what she would like people to remember about her. The actress responds: I don’t know. It delights me when I see in people’s eyes that they appreciated what I did. It’s a great reward.
