The young woman had spent several hours waiting in the emergency room. Suffering from a genetic disease, she died late Thursday afternoon, according to information from Le Parisien. She had been admitted to the hospital “standing on two legs“, explained the director of GHNE, the Nord Essonne Hospital Group, in a press release.
His condition deteriorated very quickly after having a scan. The young woman then suffered a cardiac arrest and despite the intervention of a medical team, she could not be resuscitated. The entire medical team is in shock, reports the director of GHNE.
A judicial autopsy has been requested and carried out by the Public Prosecutor and will make it possible to understand the death, announces the hospital establishment which has also set up an internal investigation, in order to reconstruct the precise chronology of the facts.
Psychological support was offered to the teams.
As in other hospitals, the white plan was activated due to the flu, causing, according to its director, an increase in activity of +25%. But according to the head of the hospital group interviewed on BFMTV, “this does not allow us to make a link with the death of the patient.“
