Friday January 10, 2025, a trader in the Paris region was checked at two a.m. by PSIG gendarmes from Val-De-Briey to Landres. He returned from Luxembourg with 6,284 bottles of various strong alcohols, or 401 boxes, without any proof of purchase.
-His merchandise is estimated at 54,000 euros. “He already admits three round trips from Luxembourg to La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis) but to be only a transporter in the service of a boss”specify the gendarmes on their Facebook site.
From now on, the investigation must continue in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. The seized goods will be sold at public auction for the benefit of the State, indicates the gendarmerie.
