On September 20 and 21, 2025, the Ornais bocage will host a prestigious motorcycle competition. The fourth of five rounds of French enduro championship will be held at the start of La Ferrière-aux-Étangs (Orne).
The last time that a round had been organized in the department, it was in Gacé, in 2021 (event at the time postponed due to the Covid pandemic).
The Houlme Moto Verte association chosen
This competition is set up by the French Motorcycling Federationwith local support and the assistance of the Houlme Moto Verte association, for whom this is a first.
Its president, Romain Langlin, explains: “The association applied and wanted to mark the occasion for the 30th anniversary of Bellou endurowhich we organize. »
A great gift therefore, since the town of La Ferrière-aux-Étangs was selected to be the starting sitearrival, and the nerve center.
We want to see this beautiful spectacle, with the best French drivers, who are among the best in the world.
To host a round of the championship, the federation was looking for clubs located in the northern part of France. “We were invited to a race to see how it was going and the club candidate. »
18 professional teams
Several towns are on the route. “It’s an eight-shaped circuit,” explains the president, “in each loop, there is three specials. » The spirit of the Bellou enduro “will be kept”, the race will also pass through the town.

October 11-12 – Saint-Flour (15) – MC du Haut Cantal
18 professional teams and around 300 pilots are expected in the countryside on this occasion.
