Abandoned baby in Trois-Rivières | The criminal responsibility of the mother will be assessed

The mother of the newborn, who was allegedly abandoned in the street on 1^is last January in Trois-Rivières, will be assessed on his criminal responsibility. The woman who is homeless was back in court on Tuesday by videoconference.

A request for evaluation and hospitalization at a specialized establishment in Shawinigan was presented by the defense attorney, Ms.^e Sandra Bonnano, before thinking about holding an investigation into release.
