A Korean barbecue, a cocktail bar expert in dim sums… Here are three new addresses, focused on Asia, to try in 2025 in Paris.
ON
After having democratized the art and joys of Korean barbecue in London (by launching Dough 20 years ago), Linda Lee arrives, this year 2025 in Paris. Comfortably installed on rue Saint-Roch, its new restaurant ON allows you to try exercise without having to suffer from fumes (thanks to an innovative ventilation system with a suction tap). In a refined decor, with walls covered in walnut wood, visitors sit around the so-called heat source. After tasting a Hemul Pajeon (this traditional Korean pancake garnished with seafood and spring onion), steamed ravioli or kimchi as a starter, we get down to business by opting for thinly sliced or marinated beef, brisket, shrimp and vegetables to place still raw on the grill. Having mastered the cooking, the feast is accompanied by salad, spicy sauces or even small bachans (typical side dishes from Korea).

Wukong The Grand Master
A stone's throw from the Saint-Martin canal, Wukong The Grand Master has just discreetly opened its doors in Paris. Behind its neon front, reminiscent of China in the 80s, this new cocktail bar immerses its visitors in a subdued decor, inspired both by the aesthetics of the film In the Mood for Love and the cinematic universe of John Woo. Here, the great classics of the genre are revisited with Chinese sauce: the margarita thus becomes the Red Empire swapping the usual ingredients for baijiu, kumquat, triple sec, lime and even soy sauce. A little sweeter than the original, you can otherwise opt for a selection of hand-picked natural wines. While on the menu, dim sums are king: crispy spring rolls, shrimp wontons, grilled chicken Xiao Long Bao, Jiao Zi stuffed with pork or vegetables… But also cucumber or chicken salads and sweet baos.
