The French Federation has formalized its calendar for 2025. The Tour of Vendée will be there again final round of the Coupe de which will take place Saturday October 11.

After a white year for budgetary reasons, the test founded in 1972 par Maurice Martineau, now supervised by Vincent Calendreau, is reborn from its ashes. First of all reserved for amateurs from 1972 to 1979, it welcomed runners professionals from 1980, joining the Coupe de France by becoming a round since its creation in 1992.

On the winners of the event, several renowned winners have succeeded one another. Among them, the locals Jean-René Bernaudeau (1980) et Claude Moreau (1984), as well as the future triple cyclo-cross World Champion, Mario De Clercq (1995). We also find the record holder Jan Kirsipuu (1997, 1999, 2000, 2003) and, more recently, the best French Classics rider, Christophe Laportewhose first two professional successes were obtained in Vendee in 2015 et 2017.

The departure is planned to midi of Saint-Mesmin and arrival at La Roche-sur-Yon towards 17 h 10i.e. a journey of 207,100 kilometers. Note that seventeen events will allow runners to score points from January to October.
