Morocco will be in the spotlight during the prestigious Book Festival, which will be held from April 11 to 13, 2025, French media said. This new edition will devote pride of place to the Moroccan edition marking the return of the Shereef kingdom as a central guest, eight years after its last participation in this major cultural event.

According to informed sources, Morocco confirmed its commitment to the festival organizers in mid-December. If the broad outlines of this participation have already been decided, certain details still remain to be clarified, in particular the list of invited authors and the program of literary meetings.

This invitation constitutes recognition of the vitality of the Moroccan literary scene, filled with linguistic and cultural diversity mixing Arabic, Amazigh and French. It will also highlight emblematic figures of contemporary Moroccan literature, while providing a platform for young talents and national publishers.

The Moroccan stand promises to be a space of discovery, reflecting the creative wealth and literary heritage of the country. In addition to round tables, signings and conferences, the program could include artistic performances and workshops celebrating Moroccan cultural wealth.

The Paris Book Festival 2025 is already shaping up to be an unmissable meeting to celebrate Moroccan letters, between tradition and modernity, through exchanges which, without a doubt, will enrich the dialogue of cultures.
