The first edition of the Fête de la Nature was successful. In Moitiers-d’Allonne (Manche), Dominique Lanu See you on May 24 and 25 for the second edition.

The Nature Festival had allowed a very large audienceyoung and old, to attend conferencesto share sorties natureto admire photos and learn about different subjects about nature with the many stands.

New exhibitors

This year, Dominique Lanu is thinking even bigger. There will be more nature outings commented by the CPIE, Yann Mouchel, and the Sentiers d'Allonne association. A nature outing on medicinal and edible plants and a night outing on insects will also be offered.

Dominique Lanu also reveals some conference topics: Christian Berquer with “Les Araignées du Cotentin” or “On the management of tomato cultivation” by Jean-Claude Boscher, president of Jardiniers de la Manche.

There will be new exhibitors such as Les jardiniers de la Manche, Le Groupe Mammologique Normand, GONm, APP2R (Association for fishing on foot and respectful of resources), or even AMC (Association Mycologique du Cotentin).

New this year is a photo competition open to all except professionals with the theme “The fauna and flora of our region”. Each participant presents two photos outside of garden plants and domestic animals. The jury will be made up of professionals with Teddy Bouvier, Sébastien Rachine, Martine Andrieux, local elected officials and the president of the Friendship Club association Claudine Padet. There will also be the public prize during the exhibition of the (preselected) photos on May 24 and 25 for the favorite photo. The date for sending photos is April 15.
