Line 16 is refining its layout. Thursday January 2, 2025, the Grand Paris Express published a video of the future Sevran-Beaudottes station. Travelers who use it can already discover what construction machinery has been doing since fall 2024.

The stations from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Clichy-Montfermeil must be delivered at the end of 2026. The other stations on the line, up to Noisy-Champs, will be for 2028.

A 3D video to wait

In the meantime, the images from the Société des Grands Projets show the layout and equipment of this station in the north of Sevran which also serves the RER B. Its opening will allow strengthen the service of the territory for the 21,000 people residing nearby and the 45,000 travelers who will circulate daily in its corridors.

Large glass roof, greenery… The 3D video shows this new setting of light where the sun will penetrate the basementseven on the quays located at a depth of 30 meters. The workers must complete the first phase of creating the metal frame in January 2025.

This future station is intended to be “like a hyphen between the districts of Sevran. It “redesigns a central square within Salvador Allende Avenue, with a layout dedicated to pedestrians and bicycles,” indicates the Société des Grands Projets.

Eight years of construction

Almost eight years after the launch of the construction of line 16, the construction site is not finished. The last step taken dates back to October 2024. The very first trainset manufactured by Alstom was transported from Valenciennes to Aulnay.
