Following the episode of winter weather during the evening of SATURDAY and the beginning of the night of SUNDAY, the weather will remain unstable and rainy in a humid and cloudy atmosphere.
The south to southwest wind will be strong towards the coast with gusts of around 70 to 80 km/h towards the most exposed capes.
The major event will be the rebound in temperatures which will mark a very clear drop, noticeable from the second part of the night.
The minimums will range from 9 to 11° at the end of the night, and the amplitude will be low with the maximum values in the afternoon, which will hardly change from those of the morning: 11 to 13°.
The mild spell will therefore be massive because this SATURDAY at 5 p.m. the readings indicated 0 to 3° in Normandy, hence a differential of around 10° regained overnight. The whole forecast for this SUNDAY will be on average 5° beyond the normal level for the beginning of January in our region.
MONDAY will be disrupted by the instability of a new rainy front which will progress during the day, under a strong westerly wind (60 to 80 km/h). Temperatures will drop again: 6° minimum / 10° maximum.
TUESDAY will alternate between numerous clouds, short sunny spells and coastal showers. The cooling will be confirmed: 3° minimum / 7° maximum.
A further rainy deterioration will be expected for WEDNESDAY because next week will be predominantly low pressure.
