Diourbel, Jan 4 (APS) – The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) cleaned the Sidy Guissé health center in Diourbel (center), where the launch of the 8th edition of the national day took place on Saturday cleaning product ‘Setal Sunu Reew’.
The ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Urban Planning, Territorial Communities and Regional Planning, Moussa Bala Fofana, in the presence of administrative authorities, Defense and Security Forces and heads of decentralized technical services.
The 8th edition of the national day of citizen mobilization is placed under the theme: “Setal sa Gokh, Aar sa yaram: alongside citizens, the armed forces are committed. »
Elements of the Diourbel gendarmerie company, from military zone number 7 which covers the administrative regions of Thiès and Diourbel, assisted by agents of the National Integrated Waste Management Company (SONAGED) cleaned all the compartments of the center of health Sidy Guissé from Diourbel.
This edition, coupled with medical actions, made it possible to collect 42 blood bags and offer medical consultations to 73 people in the commune of Diourbel.
»Today, it was the Army that carried the day. And what I saw on the ground is total satisfaction because we have a republican army present among the populations,” declared Moussa Bala Fofana.
According to him, the National Human Investment Day is becoming more and more organized and structured to change the mindset of the populations.
Moussa Bala Fofana indicated that the conclusions of the evaluation work of the first year of the “Setal Sunu Réew” days will make it possible to make the necessary readjustments to stimulate the engagement of the populations in improving the living environment.
»When we launch something, there is always this enthusiasm. Afterwards, we must find social engineering to put in place a system for its sustainability,” he said in response to a question relating to the weak mobilization of the populations.
“It is thanks to the mobilization of organized bodies, associations and local communities that we can change our living environment and put Senegal on the right path,” the minister said.
