The Court of First Instance of Casablanca has issued firm decisions against two young people involved in two separate cases. The first concerns the destruction of a bus on the “Busway” public transport line, and the second concerns the illegal sale of tram tickets.
The court sentenced a young man to 18 months in prison after his conviction for damaging a bus by smashing several windows. In addition, the court forced him to pay compensation of 50,000 dirhams for the damage caused to the vehicle.
As for the other young man, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for selling tram tickets illegally at the “Anoual” station, in addition to a fine of 1,000 dirhams.
