Among the targets targeted on Wednesday, we find the Ministry of Justice and the Council of State, the Regional Council of Centre-Val de Loire, the CCI of Hauts-de-France, the portal of the city of Montpellier and the departments of Landes and Haute-Garonne, French Polynesia and New Caledonia. Enercoop, a French energy cooperative, was also attacked.
Poitiers, Nantes, Bordeaux…
Tuesday, according to Franceinfohackers also attacked the sites of the cities of Nantes, Bordeaux, Poitiers, Pau, Nîmes, Nice, Angers, Le Havre, Montpellier, Tarbes and Marseille, as well as the departments of Landes and Haute-Garonne .
The damage is nevertheless limited, specifies Franceinfosince it is a denial of service attack, a method which consists of flooding a site with requests until saturation. There are no data leaks or theft.
In 2023, the pro-Russian hacker group attacked the sites of the National Assembly and the Senate also in response to France's support for Ukraine.
