A look back at the French Regional Para Table Championship adapted to Corbeil-Essonnes

From December 20 to 22, 2024, AS Corbeil-Essonnes Table hosted a major adapted para table tennis event: the French Regional Championship. Back to this competition.

This adapted sports event brought together, a few days ago at the Palais des Sports in Corbeil-Essonnes, 109 competitors from nine French regions: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Center- Valley, Hauts-de-, Île-de-France, New Aquitaine, , and the Countries of the Loire. With 23 teams competing and 25 referees present, the event was a real success. Nearly thirty volunteers also contributed to the organization and smooth running of the matches.

The tournament was crowned by strong moments of competition, but also by convivial times, including two dinners organized to allow participants to meet in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In addition, the event was honored by the visit of many personalities, who highlighted the importance of inclusion through sport.

This French regional championship was thus a beautiful illustration of the values ​​of inclusion and solidarity of our discipline and proof of the essential role of sport for all. Congratulations to all the participants and AS Corbeil-Essonnes Table Tennis for its organization.
