After several months of work, the building was inaugurated on Saturday December 14, 2024. It is a brand new party room that residents discover and can now use Verlhaguet, in the town of (Tarn-et-Garonne). The room located on Route d' has had a makeover.

Construction began during the summer of 2023 by an asbestos removal operation, before the work specific to the building is undertaken (October 2023 to August 2024), then exterior work during last summer.

Objectives: improve access to the site, redevelop the exterior and interior spaces, while working on thermal insulation.

A budget of €415,000 VAT

The interior spaces have been completely restructured. With, in the main building: a room with a surface area of ​​almost 100 m² supplemented by a refreshment area, a pantry, storage space, toilets. Not forgetting an association office and storage space for the neighborhood association.

Was also taken into account thermal improvement of rehabilitated buildings with the insulation of the facade walls and attics, and the replacement of all exterior joinery.

All of the facades have been renovated, the gas boiler has been replaced by one reversible heat pump; electricity and plumbing were also reviewed. The quality energy renovation of the entire project is part of the sustainable development policy driven by the community.

The entire project allows the reception of people with reduced mobility.

On the exterior side, the spaces have been redeveloped with the creation of a parking area, the relocation of the bowling alley, and the improvement of network management. Work carried out by municipal teams from the Roads department.

This work was carried out for an amount of €415,000 including tax.
