But how do you choose THE cake that will delight the greatest number of people? Every year, the competition for the best almond pancake follow one another in the Ile-de-France region. As the Galettes des Rois season begins, we invite you to (re)discover the results of the competition orchestrated by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Essonne. At the end of each year, a jury meets to designate the best almond pancake in the department.
After tasting and comparing numerous pancakes, the jury delivered its prize list on November 27, rewarding a bakery located at Leuville-sur-Orge. For those with a sweet tooth, you should go to the La Leuvilloise bakery in 2025 to savor the best almond pancake in Essonne ! Philippe Mégier won the competition in the category “ Business leaders » thanks to its pancake that is as crispy as it is delicious.
