Marta Oliete is marked by her trip to Morocco. In a video with more than a million views on Tiktok, she recounts her visit to Zara. The Spanish TikToker went to Tangier at the beginning of June. Accompanied by her friend Laura, she visited several brands of the Inditex subsidiary, Zara and Bershka. “Let’s go see a Zara in Morocco, that intrigues me,” the influencer begins in her video. The influencer went to compare the prices of “Zara” products between Morocco and Spain. When she and her friend approached a store of the brand, they were both struck by the prices displayed in the window. ” What ? », asks Marta. She discovers that the prices are high. “A dress for 120 euros doesn’t cost that much in Spain,” she said.

Their astonishment was greater when they entered the store: €43 for shoes, €32 for jogging pants or even €14 for a t-shirt. The two friends decide to visit a Bershka store, also from the Inditex group. The observation is the same: prices are much higher than in Spain. “A piece of clothing, which in Spain costs maybe €7… costs €26.90 in Morocco,” explains the young woman.

The observations made by Marta and her friend were confirmed by Internet users. “Exactly, in Marrakech, all the Inditex clothes were overpriced, as if they were reserved for a wealthy class clientele,” comments a TikTok user. For others, prices have become unaffordable in other countries: “In all countries, Inditex group stores are more expensive than in Spain. »
