Val-de-Marne: his daughter tries to suffocate him, but the octogenarian survives thanks to the unexpected arrival of his nurse

She doesn't know why, that evening, she decided to change the order in which she usually intervenes with her patients. One thing is certain, this decision literally saved the life of this octogenarian who the nurse takes care of daily.

Arriving at the apartment in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-), this Friday, December 27, the caregiver discovers that her patient's daughter is trying to suffocate her with a pillow. The nurse managed to push her away before the father lost consciousness. The girl, who suffers from psychiatric problems, will be taken to hospital under police escort.

It was 6:50 p.m. this Friday evening when this nurse decided to visit the couple for their daily care, in an apartment on rue Erik-Satie in Vitry. Accustomed to the place, the caregiver enters the accommodation and goes to the retiree's room for her care. She then discovers her daughter astride him, a pillow in her hands, holding it on her father's head.

Immediately, the 65-year-old nurse intervened and managed to push back the woman who was trying to end her father's life. Followed for serious psychiatric problems, the girl, aged around forty, still lives with her parents, who both need daily care from a health professional. When the police arrived, she made incoherent comments, demanding to “wear an electronic bracelet like Nicolas Sarkozy”.

“The nurse immediately called the police and emergency services, and keeps wondering by what miracle she changed the direction of her evening rounds,” whispers a source close to the investigation. Without his passing at exactly this time, both parents might have died! »

The attacked father was taken care of by the firefighters, but he was able to stay at home, suffering no serious injuries. Her daughter was immediately taken to the psychiatric emergency room at the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital. The investigation was entrusted to the Vitry police station.
